Q. What are the terms of payment?
We have very simple terms of payment for client's convenience such as:
Pre-payment : This is one of the most ideal mode of payment for smaller orders. Along with being convenient it also minimizes bank charges. Payment through bank drafts / cheques drawn in the name of "Modern Medical Aids" is accepted by us. However, transfer to our Bank account is more convenient and faster.
Advance payment in part : For larger orders, client may place the order with an advance payment of 25%. And the balance will be paid through a designated bank against the delivery of documents. The customer needs to pay the bank charges.
Letter of credit : Irrevocable l/c is the best way of payment - wherein the customer pays all bank charges, excluding our bank charges.
Q. What are the freight charges?
The modes of shipment we prefer are Sea Freight and Air Freight. However, we also ship orders through Post parcels, Couriers etc., as per the specific instructions received from customers. The shipping charge will depend on various factors like weight / volume of the shipment, destination to which it has to be shipped and the mode of dispatch. The client may ask for prices inclusive of freight charges or opt for receiving a consignment on the basis of 'Freight to Pay'. The Cost Insurance and Freight rates are quoted if the exact quantity, destination and mode of dispatch are intimated beforehand.
